Short answer: yes, but not for long. The Roswell Farmers Market has two Saturdays left in its 2026 season, and the market’s own home page puts the last one on Oct. 31. After that the lot behind City Hall goes quiet, and the market has not published 2027 dates. Here is what we checked on Oct. 18, 2026, and what to do with your Saturdays once the season is over.
The last two market days
- Sat., Oct. 24, 2026, 8 a.m. to noon
- Sat., Oct. 31, 2026, 8 a.m. to noon. Last market day of the 2026 season on the market’s site, and also Halloween. The market’s About page says it runs April through November, but no November 2026 date is listed.
Behind Roswell City Hall, 38 Hill Street, Roswell, GA 30075.
- The Roswell Farmers Market meets behind Roswell City Hall at 38 Hill Street on Saturdays. Its site gives the 2026 season as April 18 to October 31, 8 a.m. to noon. Roswell Farmers Market: home page
- Roswell City Hall is at 38 Hill Street, Roswell, GA 30075. The City's main phone is (770) 641-3727, and City Hall hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. City of Roswell: home page (footer)
Why do other listings show different dates?
If you searched for the market, you may have seen a different season or an 8:30 a.m. start. Older listings elsewhere still show 2025 dates and that later start time. We use the market’s own home page, which gives the 2026 season as April 18 to Oct. 31, from 8 a.m. to noon. That works out to 29 Saturdays, and 27 of them are behind us.
There is one loose end. The market’s About page says it runs every Saturday, April through November. Its home page stops at Oct. 31, and no November 2026 date is listed anywhere we looked. Until the market posts a November Saturday, treat Oct. 31 as the last one, and check its site in the week before if you are hoping for more.
One naming note. You may see the name Roswell Farmers & Artisans Market in older results. That name does not appear on the current market’s site, so we call it what the market calls itself: Roswell Farmers Market.
What will Oct. 24 and Oct. 31 look like?
The market describes itself as a nonprofit Saturday market with farmers, bakers, prepared food, coffee and live music behind City Hall. That is the same City Hall at 38 Hill Street that hosted the Roswell Arts Festival in September. Come early if you want the widest choice, because the posted hours end at noon.
Oct. 31 is also Halloween. The market has not announced anything special for that morning, so we will not promise costumes or candy. The evening is busy downtown, though: the Roswell Ghost Tour runs nightly from Oct. 14 through Halloween from the bandstand on the Town Square, 610 Atlanta Street. The operator charges $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under, cash or pre-pay.
Oct. 24 falls in the middle of the Chattahoochee Nature Center’s Halloween Hikes, Oct. 23 to 25 at 9135 Willeo Road. Those are ticketed evening events, so a market morning and a hike at night fit in one day. The two listings for the hikes give different hours, so check the nature center’s tickets page.
Where do I park for the market?
The City lists free public parking at Roswell City Hall, and its parking map counts 436 spaces in that lot. The market’s own site lists alternate parking at the new downtown deck, 1056 Alpharetta Street, and along Mimosa Boulevard. The deck has 394 spaces, and the City is not charging for it while Green Street is closed for construction. Enter it from Alpharetta Street by way of Kevin Cash Memorial Drive.
If you plan to walk from the market to Canton Street for brunch, know that Canton Street between Magnolia and Norcross Streets is part of the City’s paid parking pilot through Dec. 31, 2026. Sessions that start between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. get the first two hours free, but you still have to start a session, and the fine for skipping it is $20. Our parking page has the full rate table, and our 2026 parking guide explains what changed this year.
- The City opened a 394-space downtown parking deck at 1056 Alpharetta Street (SR 9) on May 4, 2026, paid for with $20 million in bond funds. Entry is from Alpharetta Street via Kevin Cash Memorial Drive. Roswell Connections (City of Roswell news): City of Roswell Celebrates Opening of Downtown Parking Deck (May 6, 2026)
- The City is offering parking at no charge in the new deck while Green Street is closed for the Green Street Activation Plan, which turns Green Street one-way southbound and adds a brick-paved multi-use trail. How long has the market been around?
The market says it began in 2007 as a small effort at Riverside Park. It later moved around City Hall property and to the Roswell Presbyterian Church driveway, then came back to City Hall as a nonprofit. The market dates that return to 2025, while a Visit Roswell interview with the market dates it to 2024. Riverside Park itself closed on Feb. 1, 2026 for a City renovation and is expected to reopen in summer 2027.

What can I do on Saturdays after Oct. 31?
The market season ends, but Saturdays downtown keep going. These are the dated options we could confirm:
- The City’s three house museums, Barrington Hall, Bulloch Hall and Archibald Smith Plantation, open Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with free admission. Visit Roswell says Smith Plantation is closed for repairs, so call first. Details are in our house museum guide.
- Sat., Nov. 7, 1 to 2:30 p.m.: the City’s History Seek walking tour of the historic district starts at the Town Square. It costs $12 and needs advance registration.
- Sat., Nov. 14, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: the 7th Annual Roswell Motoring Festival, a free car, motorcycle and boat show at City Hall. The organizers moved it from Oct. 10.
- Sat., Dec. 5, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: the Roswell Makers Market, a free one-day indoor holiday market of handmade goods at the Roswell Visual Arts Center, 10495 Woodstock Road.
The Roswell Christkindlmarket on the lawn of Bulloch Hall is another holiday market, but its organizer has not confirmed 2026 dates. Our Christmas in Roswell guide tracks it. For any other date, the checker on our farmers market page tells you whether the market, a festival night or the house museums are on, and the full list is on the events calendar.
