What happens on the night
The festival is free. The City puts a DJ at Heart of Roswell Park and a band stage on the Roswell Antique and Interiors Lot, with beverage tents and food trucks along the way. Leashed dogs are allowed. The City counts 15 restaurants on Canton Street inside the festival area and 25 within a mile, so you can also eat indoors. Our Canton Street guide lists them block by block.

Drinks: the open container rule

Road closures
The City’s event map shows the closures rolling in through the afternoon:
- 2 p.m.: Elizabeth Way and Webb Street close.
- 3:30 p.m.: the Roswell Antique and Interiors Lot closes to parking, because it becomes a festival venue.
- 5 p.m.: Canton Street closes to cars from Hwy 9 to Norcross Street.
If you park on Canton Street or Elizabeth Way in the afternoon, expect to move before the closure.
Where to park on festival night
The City says parking near the festival area is very limited. For the Nov. 19 night, its listing says free public parking is available at Roswell City Hall, 38 Hill Street. The City’s festival hub page also suggests:
- The City Hall and Cultural Arts Center lots, the closest walk to Canton Street and the Antique Lot.
- The Woodstock Soccer Complex lots, near the north end of Canton Street.
- The East Alley Parking Lot, between Highway 9 and East Alley. It is a paid lot under the City pilot.
- First-come street parking on Mimosa Boulevard and Hill Street.
- Private paid lots near Canton Street.
Two cautions. The hub page was written before the new City deck opened, and it still lists the Green Street gravel lot, which is closed during construction. The deck at 1056 Alpharetta Street, entered from Kevin Cash Memorial Drive, is free while Green Street is closed. Second, the hub page mentions a trolley stop, but the Nov. 19 listing does not mention a trolley, so do not count on one.
- The City opened a 394-space downtown parking deck at 1056 Alpharetta Street (SR 9) on May 4, 2026, paid for with $20 million in bond funds. Entry is from Alpharetta Street via Kevin Cash Memorial Drive. Roswell Connections (City of Roswell news): City of Roswell Celebrates Opening of Downtown Parking Deck (May 6, 2026)
- The City is offering parking at no charge in the new deck while Green Street is closed for the Green Street Activation Plan, which turns Green Street one-way southbound and adds a brick-paved multi-use trail. In the paid zones, a session that starts after 3 p.m. pays $3 an hour from the start, since the two free hours apply to sessions that begin between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Every lot is on our parking page, with a picker that sorts them by destination.
Rideshare
The City asks rideshare drivers to pick up and drop off on Mimosa Boulevard, closest address 37 Magnolia Street. Do not use Canton Street or Alpharetta Highway. Source: Roswell365 Alive in Roswell hub page and event map.
